Outstanding service; thank you Nancy. I had an insurance claim for a broken windshield that I thought would be an easy claim. Not so. The insurance company took the position that I must go to a 3rd party vendor for replacement. I have a brand new 2019 X5 BMW. By going to the 3rd party vendor, rather than an authorized dealer, it would have voided my manufacturers warranty on the new vehicle; a huge sacrifice. I have full glass coverage on my insurance policy. The insurance company took the position that they would only reimburse me for approximately one third the actual cost for BMW parts and labor to be used with the labor done by an authorized dealer. Nancy promptly contacted the insurance company and after several follow-ups she had with the insurance company and with me, I received a 100% refund approximately 7 weeks after the claim was reported. I was so impressed with the thorough follow-up that Nancy continued to have with me. The reimbursement check was finally overnighted to me. Thank you Nancy for a job well done! I have been a satisfied Ten Eyck customer for over 20 years because of their focus on providing me with the best insurance coverage at the best price. Until recently, I had not filed a home owners claim; but all that changed in the past month. COMMENTS LONG OVERDUE...I have been with Charlie and Lisa since around 1981 when Charlie bought out the Charles Shortsleeve Agency due to retirement. I was previously with Shortsleeve though my Dad. Charlie and Lisa were both younger than I expected (actually Lisa looked like a HS grad, and not much has changed :) BUT they impressed me as seasoned professionals from the start!! I have only left their guide once since (in a severe lapse of judgment) around 1997 when my company was offering payroll deducted insurance products through MetLife. Good company they were, BUT proprietary to their own products with no dedicated agents, only 800 number reps, so no comparison analyses offered for my benefit! I came back to Ten Eyck within 5 years, Charlie and Lisa welcoming with open arms, far better coverages and in some cases IMMEDIATE REDUCTIONS in premiums, all combined with the best service staff in the area!! I learned an important lesson...Ten Eyck's Honesty and Integrity came from their humble beginnings, and them never losing sight of what made them great! That's the Ten Eyck commitment. I'm not planning another move no matter what "mailbox promises" arrive in lizard trim, or TV ads claiming to save money! Remember, "The cheapest price is not always the best bang for the buck"!!
